ABOUT ME
Hi there, it's Kathy! Before becoming a Pilates coach, I worked in an office job for more than 10 years. Due to the nature of my work and poor sitting posture, it put pressure on my spine. One (bad) day, I discovered I had a herniated disc and had to undergo a surgery at the age of 29. The lower back pain continued to plague me. I practiced Yoga but it didn't help. By chance, I came across Pilates - a discipline that focuses on core muscles, which helped me overcome back pain and aligned my spine.
I have practiced at several studios from North to South. However, I realize that, more than anyone, I myself will understand my spinal pathology and know how to mitigate the problem through Pilates. Therefore, I studied and got certified by STOTT - the world's leading Pilates training school and Nutrifort Academy. I constantly improve and enhance my knowledge every day and wish to share it with others.
